Torrington Amateur Athletic Club members often compete in local and not so local races, everything from parkruns to ultra marathons.

North Devon Relays
Every year, we compete as a team in the North Devon Relays. This annual competition features Bideford Athletics Club, Fremington Trailblazers, Ilfracombe Running Club, North Devon Road Runners, South Molton Strugglers, and Torrington Athletics Club. The event consists of six rounds, each hosted by a different club on Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the summer. Each route is approximately 2.5 miles long, and each club enters teams of three or four runners across various age and gender categories.

We also organise and host two popular local events: Round the Tree and The Torrington Christmas Caper. Each year, TAAC donates race proceeds from these races to local charities.
